Who We Are
Fodder King is an Australian agribusiness tackling the problem of efficient protein delivery. Fodder is the hidden giant of global food chains. Worldwide, the industry is highly fragmented and none of the major agribusiness conglomerates participate due to problems affecting product quality and reliability - problems that Fodder King has solved. If the quality and availability of high quality-high protein hay can be radically improved then there is an insatiable demand being driven by changing economies, demographics and food consumption in nearby markets.
Our Story
Fodder King was established with a vision to combine innovative agricultural practices with practical commercial outcomes. Over time, the business has grown beyond large-scale fodder production to support environmental services, resource-sector collaboration, and sustainable project development. Today, we continue to focus on delivering reliable agricultural capability while exploring opportunities that strengthen regional industries and support long-term resilience.
Kim A Campbell MBA, M Eng Sc, BE, MIEAust
Chairman and Managing Director
Co-founder of Fodder King Ltd, it has been Kim’s vision for a vibrant new Australian led agricultural enterprise that has attracted and retained investors and supporters alike in what is normally a deeply conservative industry sector.
Graduating from one of Australia’s top business schools, the AGSM, Kim had a distinguished early career in the resources sector before returning to his family’s roots in Agriculture. His engineering knowledge and experience in the resources sector has proved invaluable in developing opportunities for the passive treatment and beneficial-use of wastewater incorporating the use of fodder crops.
In leading the early development FK’s underlying technology and seeing it through to successful small scale commercial operations, Kim has demonstrated a tenacity and determination that has wide industry respect. His knowledge of the commercial dynamics of the fodder industry is second to none.
Kim has generated a profile for FK in the print, radio and audio-visual media, such that it has become almost a household name. He has also represented the company and delivered papers at various relevant industry conferences, which have generated widespread interest and attention.
